We develop and test low-cost products to prevent wildfires and burning embers from entering your house.
Fire research

Heat from a wildfire can cause windows to break even before a home is on fire. If a window should break, this could allow burning embers to enter and to start fires inside.

This window is single pane, and is protected by a jet mister.

This jet mister protects the window from the fire by providing a thin mist of water droplets.

This single-pane window was not affected by the fire because it was protected by a jet mister.

This dual-pane window was badly damaged by the fire. The window was unprotected. It had broken and some of the glass had fallen out. A broken window could allow entry of burning embers.
